Causes Of Collapse
The constructed cemented structure on the roof was not properly watered.
Due to this following things happened:-
Between the cement base and internal basalt (murum), layer there was a gap developed.
Steel sheets which are used are low-quality material is used.
Steels sheets usage was less and cement was not tested in terms of force per cubic cm.
The base of an iron structure fabricated was not at even level.
The iron stand fabricated for grain silo tank overhead, plates taken were not of adequate size.
Base construction was not strong enough to bear the load of 1000 KL silo grain tanks plus fabricated iron stands and plates.
Consequences
The constructed steel or cement structured was weaker and was not able to hold the desired hold.
The whole load was concentrated on just one point.
Due to this load, the roof and base of cemented structure cracked and the fabricated structure on which the tank was placed was unbalanced.
