Finding in Rostfrei Steels Private Limited GLS Tank Collapse

Introduction

• 1000 KL GLS Tanks near  Social park collapsed recently.
• Here are some findings regarding that collapse.
• Causes and consequences are discussed in this presentation.
• The purpose of this video document is to make a reference document such that in future such things Don't happen again.

Objective

The objective of GLS Tanks analysis is to examine the flow of water and the impact of the flow of water on the surrounding buildings when GLS Tanks Collapse.

Causes Of GLS Tanks Collapses

1. The constructed steeled or cemented structure was not properly watered.
2. Between the cement and Internal basalt (murum) layer, there was a gap developed.
3. Due To less thickness.
4. Steels Sheets Usage was Less and quality was not tested in terms of force.

Consequences

• The constructed steel structure was weaker and was not able to hold the desired load.
• Due to the air gap developed between steel and basalt layers, it could not bear the load.
• The whole load was concentrated on just one painting.
• Due to this load, the base of steel or cemented structure cracked and the fabricated structure on which the GLS Tanks was placed was unbalanced.
• A load of the water tank was concentrated at one point.
• The load increased beyond tolerance and the cement base cracked thus resulting in a collapsed structure.
